Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, Aniela was ranked as high as #5 in the world in junior tennis. After leaving her home country to pursue a professional career she ended up at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. While at UNC, she was a three-time All-American and achieved top-ten rankings in both singles and doubles, as well as winning the prestigious ITA Arthur Ashe Leadership award. Since graduating, she has coached tennis full-time at both the club and university level, spending several years as the assistant coach at Marquette University and as Tennis Director at Elite Sports Clubs. Most recently, she was the Tennis Director at the five-star rated Sports Core in Kohler.
Aniela is married to Bryan and they have three children, Trystan (9), Arabella (2) and Wyatt (1). She enjoys sharing her lifelong passion of the game with people of all ages and abilities, and has had the great opportunity to help numerous young adults obtain college scholarships.
